Shamel Milling Co., Inc. has served the Western New York community dating as far back as 1935. Shamel Milling Co., Inc, has been owned and operated by the Engel family since 1946. The original facility, which was first called East Concord Milling Company and then Doty Milling, was purchased by Mr Howard Shamel in 1935, who renamed and incorporated it as Shamel Milling Company. In 1946, Shamel Milling was purchased by Rudy and Ruth Engel, and has been owned and operated by the Engel family ever since.
For a small family owned and operated feed and farm supply, Shamel offers much more than meets the eye.
